| "Inflexible" input systems, for example with inconveniently arranged keys, unresponsive pressure points or even poorly labelled switches not only increase the risk of operating errors, but in most cases cannot be used universally. If you want an optimal input system for a specific purpose you usually will require a customised solution. Such a solution always involves additional cost and time. Even a slightly modified variant will then cost extra. |

| However, the actual core piece of PROFI-T O U C H is the centrally positioned 4.3" TFT display in 16:9 format with touch function. Here, in collaboration with partners, we are setting new standards with a sophisticated concept: no more special keypads that are cost- and time-intensive, no costly development of controls and software adaptations. |

| A microelectronics component behind the central display leaves hardly anything to be desired. A powerful processor allows the developer to connect his own specific circuit directly to a variety of serially-produced, available internal interfaces. These interfaces and a "standard" operating system (such as Linux or Windows CE) provide an easy way to update soft- and hardware. Ports to the outside such as USB, RS232, CAN, Ethernet and diverse radio modules are likewise no problem. Internal memory is provided via SDHC modules (256 MB to 32 GB). |

| Inside the housing sufficient space has been planned for additional customer PCBs and for customer-specific ports to the outside. Via optional intermediate frames the height of the housing can be varied. |

| An additional highlight is the very easy-to-use and efficient design and programming of the input surface via PC. Developers are practically free to choose their design options for an input mask, ranging from the design and the size of the keys to the menu-steered key configuration. The use of displays as "pure display" with optional steering via two (membrane) keypads left and right is also possible. |
