| The closed aluminium profile, like all ALU housings from KM, has a clever interior design for mounting PCBs. Thus, not only can you insert horizontal PCBs into its respective groove, you can also insert a limited number of vertical PCBs. |

| In the development of the external design, we have consciously dispensed with grooves and edges. That's why the ALU housing can be used in industries with high hygiene requirements like the food industry and is excellently suited for medical applications. Cleaning and disinfecting this housing series are thus very easy. Due to its high ingress protection (on request up to IP65), it can also be cleaned with large quantities of fluids. The surface consists of a sealed anodised coating to meet high requirements. |

| To use the ALU-PRIMUS housing in a visible area, the user can opt for design corner pieces which also feature impact protection, anti-slip surface, stackability and/or compatibility with wall holders. |
|
| Due to the basic principle of a continuous casting profile, you can choose any length of housing. For the width and height, KM offers commonly used sizes (e.g. Euro-standard PCBs 160 x 100 mm or 160 x 200 mm). |
|
| In serial production this housing is anodised (natural and black), but it can also be ordered in other colours (anodised, lacquered or powder coated). |
